Celebrating New Leadership: CLEAT Election Results

We are excited to announce the results of our recent elections! Congratulations to Scott Leeton, our newly elected CLEAT President, and Norm Fisher, our new Vice President, who joins VP incumbents Danny Diaz and Lloyd Cook. These exceptional leaders bring decades of dedicated service to the law enforcement profession. Their experience, passion, and vision will help guide us through the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

President-elect Scott Leeton has been a proud member of law enforcement for over 30 years, with 12 years as Corpus Christi POA President. He dedicated the past six years to serving as CLEAT Vice President and various leadership roles, including CLEAT’s Legal Committee Chairperson, Finance Committee, NAPO Rep and NAPO board member, and the TMRS Rep for the Stakeholders Advisors Committee.

From negotiations to advocating for critical resources, his tireless efforts have consistently put the needs of our members first. His leadership reflects a deep understanding of the complexities of the law enforcement profession and a steadfast commitment to protecting the rights and well-being of our members.

Our newly elected Vice President, Norm Fisher, started his law enforcement career in 1990. He has served six years as a CLEAT Region Director and joined the CLEAT Legal Committee in 2024. Norm has consistently played a vital role in addressing officer and member concerns and fostering unity among members in his region. His dedication to the success and safety of every officer makes him a powerful advocate for our membership.

He joins the rank of two incumbent VPs, Danny Diaz and Lloyd Cook, both of whom have displayed exceptional leadership and resolve throughout their many years of service on the CLEAT Board.

As we move forward, we stand united behind our new President and Vice President. Their years of service, leadership, and dedication have prepared them well for this moment, and we are confident in their ability to represent and advocate for all members.
